MERCER TO HUNTI.Y TO-DAY.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MERCER, this day. After a night's rest, following his further journey of 19 miles yesterday, Mr. G. L. Luk'ey set off at nine o'clock this morning to wheel Mr. J. C. Scho(ield to Huiitly on a further stage of 22 miles on the wheelbarrow journey from Auckland to Wellington. On each of the first two days Mr. Lukey covered 19 miles and finished fresh at the end of each day.
