NELLIE BRAMLEY SEASON.

The famous Aldwych farce, "Tons of Money," is proving highly popular as presented in His Majesty's Theatre by the Nellie Bramley Company. The play gives excellent scope to the various members of the company, which include, in addition to Miss Bramley, John Cameron, Stanley Holah, Wilson Ewart, Moncrieff McCallum, Owen Ainley, Nan Taylor, Noel Boyd, Joy Langridge and Elizabeth Ramsay. Miss Bramley is popular with New Zealand audiences, having visited the Dominion twice previously.

The new play to be staged on Saturday, at matinee and evening performances, will be "Marry at Leisure," a scintillating comedy of the risque type. It was first staged in London three years ago, with that great htisband-and-wife combination, Marie Tempest and Graham Brown, on the boards. "Marry at Leisure" will be followed by a revival of Miss Bramley's former success, "Fair and Warmer."

Patrons of the "Tons of Money" first night were provided with a little comedy not on the bill. A back stalls patron, taking the easy way from one row of seats to the one in front, jammed his foot when a seat folded back. An attendant was summoned, but he could do nothing, and ultimately a mechanic, with brace, bit and screw driver arrived. Five minutes' work and the prisoner was freed, to the accompaniment of rounds of applause.
