DEMOCRAT CANDIDATE.
DUNEDIN CENTRAL SEAT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. Mr. Alfred Clark, who will stand as a Democrat candidate for the Dunedin Central Feat against Mr. Peter Neilson, the Labour candidate, was with Wright, Stephenson and Company for 30 years, and is at present in busines-s in the city as an estate and land agent.
Mr. Clark was an unsuccessful candidate for a seat on the City Council at the last election. He takes a wide interest in sport, being a prominent steward of the Forbury Park Trotting Club and a member of the executive of the Otago Wrestling Association.

The first political address in Dunedin by a Minister of the Crown for many months will be given on August 14, when Sir Alfred Ransom speaks. This will be the second of a series of addresses to be given throughout the Dominion.
