Seven bankruptcies were recorded last month, as compared with two in June of this year, and two in July of 1034. Last month's total is the largest this year, and brings the number for the seven months up to 27, one more than last year'e corresponding figure. However, this number is much lower than ill previous years, the January-July total being 41* in 1933, 03 in 1032, and 72 in 1931.
