THREE YEARS IN GAOL. SUM OF £470 STOLEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHUECH, this day. "You planned and executed a deliberate raid and your record would nidi- '■ cate that you decided to embark on a I life of crime." said Mr. Justice Xorth- ! croft in the Supreme Court to-day in sentencing Albert William Gauntlet to three years' imprisonment for breaking and entering Hay, Ltd., and stealing £470. Ralph Crosby, alias Trevor Foote, who was associated with Gauntlet, was sentenced to two years' reformative detention.
