SOVIET SUBMARINE'S ENTIRE CREW LOST.

A terrible tragedy has occurred in the Gulf of Finland. The Soviet submarine B3 sank following a collision during manoeuvres, the entire crew of 55 being drowned.
The submarine was participating in the Soviet Baltic Fleet's annual manoeuvres and was actually submerged when struck l>y another vessel. She sank immediately. Rescue work proved impossible. The disaster occurred on July 2,"), but has only just been revealed. The Soviet lias decreed that £1000 should be given to each of the victims' families. The men included seven naval cadets from the Leningrad Military Academy, while the remainder came from the Eed Fleet. The men will be given a State funeral when the vessel is raised.
