PAKEHA SAILS FOR LONDON. HAURAKI AND SURREY IN. The. Niagara was due to leave Victoria, 8.C., this morning for Auckland to resume her interrupted running. She will arrive here on August 19, and returns direct to Vancouver. The Shaw, Savill eteame.l- Pakeha sailed for London shortly after noon to-day with a big cargo of frozen meat, butter and cheese. The Union Company's motor shin Hauraki arrived this morning from Pacific Coast ports with newsprint and general cargo. She al*o called at the Cook Islands for oranges. The Surrey iirrived from Liverpool at 1.30 p.m. today, berthing later at the Queens wharf. The Rangitane is busy discharging her cargo from London at the Queen. s wharf. Pakeha, after being delayed in her final loading by the rain earlier in the week, sailed a'feu- minutes after noon to-day for London, via Panama and Kingston. She is due at London on September 11. Surrey arrived in port at 1.30 p.m. from Liverpool. After discharge at the Queen's wharf she leaves for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. (X.Z.S. Co.) Triaster sailed from Nauru on Tuesday for Auckland, via Ocean Island, with 7!). i() tons of phosphate for discharge here. She is due next Wednesday. (8.P.C.) Kaitoke, which berthed at the King's wharf yesterday, is loading scrap iron for Japan. About 1000 tons will be loaded here, calls being made at fiisborne, Napier, West port and Wellington. (F. E. Jackson and Co.) Wingatui is due from Portland earlv, in the morning to complete loading. She leaves on her usual run to Southern ports the same night. (U.S.S. Co.) Monterey left Suva on Tuesday evening for San Francisco, via Pago Pago, Honolulu and Los Angeles. She is clue on August 12. (11. and M.)
