The plant lias been dredging n. large amount of bottom because of the rising reef in the vicinity of the creek. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Golden Dawn (Owhnroal. —Development, No. 3 level: Crosscut east from drive south from winze intersected tile Magazine Reef Klin wide and in splendid country; assay, j>3 411 ii ton. Main drive north on No. 1 reef extended 45ft, the reef being sum 11. hut the country rock of a splendid class. Bottom Intermediate level: Drive south on No. 1 reef extended 22ft from old pass; 3ft wide and looks well: £2 S/H a ton. Drive smith on eastwall branch No. 3 reef 10ft; reef 2ft wide: values lowa Drive north on west wall branch reef off No. 1 reef 7ft; 12in: £13 (i/11 ii ton. Drive south on westwall reef off westwall branch reef driven 7ft. Reef in three branches, each carrying good value, average assay £12 18/7 a ton. Stoplng was continued in the Xo. "3 and bottom intermediate levels.
