METHODIST LEADER.
DR. W. R. MALTBY ARRIVING. A passengers on the Aorangi, which arrives at Auckland to-morrow, is Dr. W. Russell Maltby, a leader of the Methodists in England. Dr. Maltby went to Australia to represent his Church at the celebrations of the centenary of the Victorian Methodist Church last May.
For a number of years Dr. Maltby lias been warden of the Wesley Deaconess Institute at Ilkley, Yorkshire. He is an ex-president of the British Methodists and is a popular speaker.
On Monday afternoon Dr. Maltby will address a gathering of ministers of all the Churches, .and .in the evening lie will address a public meeting in . the Pitt Street' Methodist Church. He will continue his voyage to England by the i Aorangi on Tuesday.
