COWS' SWEET TOOTH.
Mr. George Tickler, of Bradley, near Grimsby (Lincolnshire) feeds his herd of 30 British Friesians on jam, and they like i|j Each cow receives between half a pound and a pound every day. More may not be given in case the butterfat content of the milk, is lowered. Mr. Tickler reports great improvements by cultivating the cows' sweet tooth.
