AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. CENTRAL WINS DART SHIELD. The Dart Shield for the inter-club Tiadminton championship was won by the Central Club, which defeated .Parnell in the final by seven rubbers to five. This was the first defeat suffered by Parnell since the trophy was presented- for competition five years ago. Results (Central players first). —Men's doubles : Neale and Hull beat Anderson and Rowllings, 21—11 : Wilson and Weir lost to Marten and Southon, 17—21; Neale and Hull beat Marten and Southon, 21 — 14; Wilson and Weir beat Anderson and Rowllings, 21—10. Ladies doubles: Misses Wade and Ramsay heat Mis-scvs M. and K. Waters, 21—9; Misses Campbell and Gardner lost to Miss Imvood and Mrs. Wren, 10—21 ; Misses Wade and Ramsay beat Miss Inwood and Mrs. Wren, 21—S; Misses Campbell and Gardner lost to Misses M. and R. Waters, 9—21. Mixed doubles : Weir and Miss Campbell lost to Marten and Miss M. Waters, 15— 21; Hull and Miss Ramsay beat Southon and Miss R. Waters, 21—13; Wilson and Miss Wade lost to Anderson and Mrs. Wren, 17—21; Neale and Miss Gardner beat Rowllings and Miss Inwood, 21—13.
