SEWING CIRCLE.
Ladies of the Papakura Welfare League met this week and decided to form a sewing circle and meet fortnightly. Mrs. J. Jarvic presided. Present were Mesdames Lock, D. Graham, A. E. Berry, C. Spencer, S. Godden and E. Busing (secretary). Offers to cut out materials were received from Mesdames Sloane and N. Kemp. Authority was given the secretary to purchase materials and have cutting out done ready for next meeting.
