WAIMAUKU INSTITUTE.
The members of the Waimauku Women's Institute organised a bring and buy in aid of funds for the WaimaukuMuriwai and Motutara schools. There was a large number of scholars and parents present. Prize winners were as follows: —Mrs. A. Hunt (vase), Mrs. J. Hosking (afternoon tea), Miss Jean Dakers (Sunday dinner), Mrs. W. Riddell (rubber bag), Mrs. J. Skeates (knitted jacket). During the afternoon a violin and piano duet was given by Miss S. E. Wilkins and Mrs.. A. Kerr-Taylor. The various stalls did a thriving trade and the fishpond was well patronised by the children.
