HAPSBURG THRONE.
Little Entente Opposed to
Restoration.
FRENCH ATTITUDE STATED.
LONDON, July 7.
The '"Daily Telegraph" Vienna correspondent says it is reported that the Austrian Government is ready to make the Hapsburgs an annual allowance of £48,000, in addition to restoring their property. A message from Paris states that the unrelaxing opposition of the Little Entente to the- restoration of the Hapsburgs was voiced by the Yugoslav Minister, M. Spalaikovitch, in the course of conversations with M. Laval. It is understood that the French Government considers that the latest measure is' Atistria's private affair and that it does not necessitate diplomatic action. Nevertheless it is considered untimely because it threatens to create an atmosphere in Central Europe which is not calculated to facilitate the conclusion of the projected Danubian Pact.
