WANGANUI MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. The West Coast (North Island) crosscountry championship was held on Saturday, C. Weller (Wanganui) winning by over 300 yards from K. Johnston (Wanganui), with F. Hill (Marton) and D. Smith (Marton) third and fourth respectively. Weller covered 10,000 metres in 31.0 d. The teams race was won by Wanganui. The Wanganui team to compete in the Dominion championship on July 20 is as follows: Weller, K. Johnston, l<. Hill, Smith, Bills, Collins.

CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS,

CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Canterbury cross-country championships were run on Saturday. The individual championship resulted ns follows: A. D Park 1. G. H. Watson and K. Rogers dead-heat 2, M. W. Busby 4. The teams events resulted as follow: — Seniors: Christchurch Club, 19 points, 1; Baptist, 31, 2; Timaru, 49, 3; Senior grade B: Timaru, 10 points, 1; Christchurch, 29, 2; Baptist, 44, 3. Timaru also won the junior event.

DUXEDIN, this day. The Otago senior and junior crosscountry championships were run at Wingatul on Saturday. In the senior race, W. A. C. Pullar won the individual championship, A. R. Geddes being second, L. C. MeLachlan third, and W. A. Stewart fourth. ■ ' The result of the teams race was: Civil Service (Geddes 2, McLachlan 3, Barnes 5, Asher 14, JlcKinnon 19), 43 points, 1; Anglican (Curtis 7, "W. A. C. Pullnr 1, Logan 13, T. H.
