SCOUT DANCE.
MOUNT ALBERT COMMITTEE
The Mount Albert Scoufc Committee held another very enjoyable dance last Saturday evening at King George's Hall, Mount Albert. The- hall was attractively decorated with coloured lights and streamers. Mr. F. Cole acted as master of ceremonies. During the evening Miss Margaret O'Connor and Mr. J. Priestley gave demonstrations of the tango, rumba and quickstep, and they were very enthusiastically received. Miss R, Watts and Mr, A. Ryan won the Monte Carlo. The hostesses for the evening were:— Mrs. F. Mcßride, J.P., black mafocain and fur; Mrs. P. Halliday, powder blue crepe do soir; Mrs. R. Mackay, brown tinsel satin; Mrs. W. Ryan, navy Chantilly lace; Miss Myrtle Ryan, white diagonal crepe with spray of red dog roses. Also present were:—Mrs. C. L. Crump, apricot taffeta; Mrs. J. Gordon, brown taffeta; Mrs. Daly, brown and gold lace; Mrs. J. Biiime, wine velvet; Mrs. F. Monkman, primrose lace; Mrs. J. Stanley, red velvet; Miss J. Bland, ivory satin; Miss M. Crump, peach marocain; Miss Margaret Fowlds, scarlet taffeta; Miss B. Crump, powder blue velvet; Miss R. Blair, red velvet; Miss B. Fowlds, powder blue taffeta; Miss B. Whaley, blue floral georgette; Miss B. Gibson, tea rose marocain; Mies A. Hulme, apricot georgette; Miss T. Frick, salmon georgette; Miis B. Usher, pink craquelle crepe; Miss Lois Shortland, shell pink crepe suede; Miss Con. Edgerley, crushed strawberry and black velvet; Miss Rita Watts, cherry taffeta and silver; Miss S. Churchill, blue velvet; Miss M. Coulter, black velvet; Miss S. Walker, green velvet; Miss J. Rush, ciel blue crepe; Miss J. Maxwell, lemon and brown marocain; Miss M. Hicks, cream and embroindered anglais; Miss M. Hunt, white nlnon; Miss P. Briggs, peach velvet; Miss M. Shearer, pink lace; Miss L. Howe, white velvet; Miss E. Bennett, green and gold taffeta.
