Mrs. Rossiter. There will be no compulsory homework for the 470 boys of the Maidstone (Kent) Grammar School,-a day secondary school, this term. "My idea is to give the boys more time to cultivate non-academic interests," Mr. A. J. .Woolgar, the headmaster, said. "I want them to have more leisure for their hobbies and their games. I do not think that the examination results will suffer." The results of the experiment will be carefully reviewed at the end of the term. "The new plan," Mr. -W«olgar said, "appears to be rather popular with the boys."-
