SOUTHLAND PROPOSALS
INVERCARGILL, Monday,
It was stated by a director of the company to-day that textile mills to be established in Southland with the assistance of English capital would employ hundreds of operatives. The manufacture of every 'lass of hessian sacking and woolpack from New Zealand fibre was to be undertaken to supply the Australian and New Zealand market.
