WEATHER FORECAST
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton: — Light to moderate cast winds, backing gradually to northerlies; weather fair to fine and becoming milder; seae, smooth to moderate. An anti-cyclone now extends from the North Tasman Sea on to New Zealand, while a moderate depression is advancing across the South Tasman. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: — .Wind, easterly, moderate; sea, moderate; weather, fine and clear, with scattered clouds; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
