Buyers for 1955 stock and bonds were at £111 and £111 10/ respectively, showing a big advance considering Inst week's interest payment. 'Aiistralian Glass shares, hardened 'on buying offers.of £3 8/,; sellers retiring to £3 9/6. Broken Hills had a firm market, 'standing 3d on cither side of £2 16/, and British Tobaccos were .again strongly 'quoted. Buyers for Woolworths (N.Z.) offered 1/ less than the last sales nricc, but sellers failed .to appear. Mining issues were quiet, Big Rivers again looking cheaper', and Brian Bonis relapsing to buyers l%d and sellers 2%d. Maori Gull.vs sold again on a falling market from 1/3% to 1/2%.
