LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY.
"MR. PIM PASSES BY." In a charming setting of a morning room, set off with lime green curtains, a beautiful Jacobean armchair, and very modern surroundings, the Auckland Little Theatre Society opened its season in the concert chamber of the Town Hall on Saturday evening. There was very little dressing required for this production, but the frock worn by Miss Althea Parker, as Olivia, was neatly made and suited the wearer. It was of dark grey and white figured marocain, with double cuffs and collar of black and white, and a smart belt was worn at the waist. Simple but dainty was the; navy and turquoise daisy patterned crepe suede with blue picture hat, worn by Miss Dulcie Dunningham, in the character of "Dinah." Ngaia Hughes, as Anne, wore the regulation frock of black, with white organdie apron cuffs and collar, while Edna Craig, as Lady Marden, made her appearance in a beautifully cut riding suit with breeches, the waistcoat and stock being of white pique. Many smart evening wraps were seen among the audience.
