TO STAND TRIAL.
HAWKE'S BAY MOTORIST. (By Telegi7i|ili.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Thursday. Arising out of an accident on April 24 in which a cyclist, Bruce Summersoy, was killed as a result of a collision with a car, John Sylvester Pender was today committed for.trial at the Supreme Court at Napier on a charge of recklessly driving a motor vehicle, thereby causing the death of Summersby. Evidence was given tluit when deceased wns riding with a companion n car came toward them and an instant later Fender's car came up behind tliein and struck deceased.
