SEAMEN'S UNION.
WELLINGTON LITIGATION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON", Thursday. Decision was reserved to-day by the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, in respect of the second action arising out of the shipping trouble in Wellington last year. The action, which was brought by John James Porter for an injunction to restrain the Wellington Seamen's Union from suspending him from membership, was in many respects similar to the previous ease brought by Douglas Gibson. In order to avoid a repetition of a great volume of evidence it was agreed by counsel that the evi.,d«noe>in the first case, with certain re-ttru-hons, should be taken as evidence i in the aetend- case.Ik/'- .■ .- <l l '& '■
