SPORTS TRADERS AT PLAY. RETAILERS BEAT WHOLESALERS. A golf match between teams representing wholesale and retail sports goods traders wus hold on the Maungakiekie links. The cup for annual competition was won by the retailers' team by 10 games to 3, two being till square. F Wisunan and G. Philson won trophies for the best-ball bogey competition. Results, wholesale first:— Singles.—H. Brinsden beat J. I'elham, 3 and 2": Thompson lost to I<\ Wiseman, 5 and 4 ■ H. Randrup and E. W. Griffiths, all square; J. It. McCrystal and W. Smeeton, all square; R. Yock lost to J. Harrison, 3 and 2 ; C. Partridge beat C. Edwards, 3 and 2 ; J. I). Ball lost to N. Ford 2 and 1 ; K. Hen ton lost to J. W. Neale 2 and 1 ; O. Eyre lost to G. Philson, 3 and 2 ; L. Coakley lost to G. J. Browne, Foursomes.—H. Brinsden and 0. Eyre lost to F. Wiseman and G. Philson, 3 and 2: Thompson and Coakley lost to I'elham mid G J.
