CUT RESTORATION.
Wellington city council. (By Telegraph.—Press -Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. | \ restoration of 5 per cent,, the balance of the 10 per cent salaries and wagce cut, to take effect from July 1, was agreed to by the Wellington City] Council to-iiight. An amendment, supported by the Labour members, that the restoration should applv only to employees in receipt of £350 a year and under, was lust. A further amendment, that in Hie case of these employees. the restoration should be retrospective to April 1, was, also negatived.
