LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
KOHIMARAMA. At the monthly meeting held in the Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Littlejohn conducted the devotional session. The thought for the afternoon was supplied by Mrs. Parker. Mr. Stallworthy, by his address on the work of the Community Sunshine Association, aroused much interest and sympathy in the work. Mrs. Bright, vice-president of the association, also Mre. L. A. Eady, spoke a few words. Items were given by Mesdames Eady and Reffell. MOUNT ROSKILL. The seventh birthday of Mount Roskill League of Mothers was celebrated last week. Mrs. English, provincial president, together with Mrs. Whyte and Mre. Allen, secretary and treasurer, were preeent. Mrs. Brown, a former president, and the oldest member, was presented with a bouquet of violete from league members. Mrs. Poole gave elocutionary items, and some of the members impromptu speeches, which were much enjoyed. Mrs. Snell «ang two songs. Afternoon tea and the cutting of the birthday cake by Mrs. Brown brought an enjoyable afternoon to a close.
