AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Amateur Athletic Club continued its winter sports on Saturday in the Outer Domain. Results :— . 75 Yards. —Final: P. Castle, 2Jyds, 1; L. N. Ross, oyds, 2; J. ,F. Watson, oyds, 3. Time, Bs. A very good finish, Castle winning by Oin, with the others all close up. Putting the Shot.—J. W. Murphy (Oft Oin), 3Gft Bin, 1; N. Clark (Bft 91n),'30ft •tin, 2: S. A. Hanson (13ft Oin). 30ft 3Jin. 3. W. Mason, 30ft 3in ; D. R. Mitchell, 35ft 7in. Throwing the Discus.—A. G. Hill (50ft), 108 ft 7in, 1: C. 11. Taylor (44ft), 108 ft Sin, 2; D. R. Mitchell (52ft), 107 ft Bin, 8. N. V. Douglas, 100 ft Sin ; J. W. Turnbull, 105 ft lOin. 4000 Yards Steeplechase.—Times were : J. R. Angelo, 15.6; McNiel, 15.8; Mitchell, R. Angelo, 13.0; McNiel, 15.8; Mitchell, 15.11 ; O'Donnell. 15.15 ; Dunn, 15.20 : Hill, 15.22; Allen 15.28; Savidan, 15.35; f.nith, 15.30 ; Taylor, 15.42 ; Mills, 15.50. The fastest time was registered by J. W. Savidan, 12.35, the next best being A. G. Hill. 13.10. nnd J. Dunn, 14.10. There .will not be any competitions next Saturday, as so many of the club's best runners will be taking parkin the annual road r::ce from Office to •Auckland. '
