SERVICE TO MELBOURNE (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Thursday. "We cannot make too early a start in working for the resumption of the BluffMelbourne passenger service," said Mr. A> H. Aitken, in introducing the subject at a meeting ol thc Bluff Harbour Board to-day. The chairman, Mr. W. A. Ott, said ho agreed with Mr. Aitken's remarks. He knew that the matter had been taken up in other quarters, and he felt that the board should ask the Otago and Lyttelton Harbour Boards for their support. It was decided that the board's emergency works committee should keep in touch with thc Invercargill Chamber of Commerce in advocating the restoration of the service. '
