(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIX, this day. In the Police Court a mining engineering student, Alexander McClure, aped 23, was charged with writing on the footpath. The police stated that accused, who had Communistic leanings, wrote in chalk a notice to workers to demonstrate on May Day. Describing the * accused's action a* that of a boy, the magistrate dismissed the charge, subject to the payment of costs.
