CIVIC ELECTIONS.
THE NEW MAYOR.
INSTALLATION CEREMONY. FUNCTION TO-MORROW NIGHT. The installation of the Mayor-elect, Mr. Ernest Davis, will take place in the Council Chamber at the Town Hall tomorrow at 7.30 p.m. A brief review of the work of the council during his two terms of office will be given by the retiring Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, before he invests Mr. Davis with his chain of ofliee. At the close of the ceremony new members of the council and ex-councillors will be entertained at supper, when Mr. Davis will be welcomed, and presentations will be made to Mr. Hutchison and also to Mr. A. J. Entrican, the former deputy-Mayor, who, like the retiring Mayor, did not seek re-election.
