ALTERATION MADE. COUNCIL'S DECISION. 4 Allocation of milk prices was fixed at it meeting at the Auckland Mlllt Coitll , ell last night. The council considered the prices for winter milk, but made lit) alteration. They will renin In at 5d and (Ud a bottle, n>4 previously. The alterations iiuule in' the Bd pi'ioe nro (flight. They will take effoet as from Juno 1. Tlie council reduced the levy from l/4«»to 1/8 a gallon, and allowed the one-eighth to the dairymen. It Increased the allowance to the vendor for chilling, from id to |d. Tlie pvice for cream sepavated on tlie farm was altered from 1/ to 1/JJ per lb for ltutterfat.
Other than these alterations, prices arc the same.
