SEAFIELD IRRIGATION.
MINISTER DENIES RUMOUR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. The Chamber of Commerce has received from the Minister of Lands and acting-Prime Minister, Mr. Ransom, a telegram stating that the rumour in reference to the suspension of irrigation at Seafield is not correct. Control is being undertaken by the Lands Department but operations will continue and records will be kept.
