MOTOR CYCLE NOTES.
UZBEKS AT MURIWAI. Although the two motor cycle races included in the programme of New Zealand Motor Racing Drivers' Association's meeting at Muriwai oil Saturday did not attract any of the "top-liotcliers" in motor cycling, the competitors who did enter we.e very keen, W. Grey coming all the way from Rotorua to compete.
The fastest rider on the beach was J. E. Marnier, who, on a J.A.I'., started from scratch in both races and finished second in one and third in the other. In the first race, Grey (Xorton), with 30 seconds start, was able to keep ahead of Mander to the finish, though the latter wijfc coining up fast. F. Ilookway (Xorton) and W. Fisher (Rex-Acme-J.A.P.) on fiOs and DOs respectively, were not very far ahead of him' at the finish of the second race. Club Meeting. The last meeting of the Auckland Motor Cycle Club before the annual meeting and election of officers for the forthcoming year will be held at the club rooms this evening. From the number of nominations already received for the election of officers, which is to be held next month, it appears that interest in the activities of the club lias revived considerably since last year amongst members "of the trade.
