Nominations For Chief Events. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAXGAREI, this clay. Nominations for the Whangarei Racing Club's autumn meeting of April 11 and 13 closed last night, and show a slight decrease compared with the figures for the same meeting last year. Last year 314 nominations were received. The figures have dropped to 299 this year. Horses nominated for the two principal events each day are as follow: — FIRST DAY. Last year there were fifteen nominations for ihi-i event. Stewards Handicap.—Tybalt, Hampton Park, Whakapara, Miss Lorraine, Lord Willonyx. Karangapai. Crooning, Tray Bit. British Columbia, Hoihoma, Boughal. Tea Chat. Fourteen nominated last year. SECOND DAY. iutunin Handicap.—Tybalt, Whnkaparn, Ga'v Marigold, Bonny Gay. Kunmgiip.-u Jalldv Karo, Thespis.
