ELECTION LIKELY.
VICTORIAN POLITICS. (Received 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Sir Stanley Argyle, State Premier, states that if he is defeated on a noconlidciicc motion, he will immediately resign. He adds that it is inevitable that another election will be held in th<; near future if the Ministry is defeated.
