MARIPOSA FOR SAN FRANCISCO

ECLIPSE, 10,000-TON TANKER

The Mariposa, which arrived shortly before 7 o'clock this morning fro" 1 Sydney, is due to sail at IS p.m. in continuation of her voyage to San Francisco. She has a big passenger Use. The 10,000 ton tanker Eclipse arrived at 330 p.m. yesterday, anchoring Hi the stream and*berthing at the Western wharf later. She is expected to sail for Lyttelton to-morrow morning. Ine Matakana will sail for London on Tuesdav morning. The five vessels of the Australian Fleet will arrive on Wednesday from Russell. The flagship Canberra will berth at the Princes wharf. the cruiser Sussex will anchor in the harbour, and the destroyers Stuart, Vendetta and Voyager will go alongside the Naval Depot wharf.

Monowai sailed for Sydney at 3.25 pin yesterday with'3oo passengers, and is due at Sydney on Monday. She leaves Sydney for Auckland on Friday. (U.b.b Co.)

Turakina, which arrived from Liverpool at noon on Wednesday, has nearly completed the discharge of Auckland cargo, and will leave for Wellington on Monday. (N.Z.S. Co.)
