A man who talks' with the aid of n. tuning ilute reed has astonished Japanese doctors. K. Nagateuna had hie vocal cords removed during an operation. He bought a tuning pipe, connected it to his windpipe, and after long practice succeeded in speaking through the reed. He speaks very clearly over the telephone and eings well.
