NEW ENGINE FOR TUG.
The Waihou, one of Auckland's small tug-boats, hae recently had a new engine installed by Messrs. W. G. Lowe and Son. It is a 42 h.p. Potter Diesel, replacing a petrol engine. The Waihou was built in 1015 by Messrs. Lowe and Son for Mr. Walker, of Opotiki, and ran from that .port to east coast bays until acquired by her pr'eeeiit owner, Mr. W. Stanaway." She is 45ft overall, 10ft 3in beam and sft draught.
