CITY SHOWS. Film entertainment in the city will consist this evening and during the ensuing week of the following programmes: — Civic, film version of L. M. Montgomery's wonderful romance, "Anne of Green Gables," featuring Anne Shirley and Tom Brown; Roxy and Tivoli, the Jesse L. Lasky spectacle, "Hclldorado" (Richard Aden, Madge Evans and Ralph Bellamy) and "The Ship of Wanted Men," a gripping ocean drama; St. James', new murder mystery-drama, "Evelyn Prentice," featuring Myrna Loy and William Powell, the stars of "The Thin Man"; Plaza, Grace Moore's superb musical entertainment, "One Night of Love," in its triumphant sixth week; Regent, a brilliant comedy, "Girls Will be Boys," with that fine master of laughter, Cyril Maude, aided by the young Continental star, Dolly Haas; Majestic, a pleasing new English musical comedy dealing with the adventures of a male Cinderella, and entitled "Mr. Cinders," with Clifford Mollison and Zelma O'Neal as stars; Strand, revival of that English musical record-breaker, "Tell Me To-night," with Jan Kiepura, also "Our Fighting Navy"; National and Prince Edward, extended season of Cecil B. do Milie's spectacular "Cleopatra," starring Claudette Colbert and Henry Wilcoxon.
