IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT.
EEV. BB.OTHEH C. D. MAELOW. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. The Rev. Brother C. D. Marlow, who has been appointed Superior of St. Kevin's College, Melbourne, which is conducted by, the Christian Brothers, is a son of Mr. J. J. Marlow, deputyMayor of Dunedin. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria, and came to South Dunedin with his parents when he was one year old. He was educated at St. Philomena College, and later at the Christian Brothers' High School at Dunedin. At the age of 15 Brother Marlow was high up on the list of the first hundred successful candidates in the Public Service examination, and he secured an appointment in the Health Department. Later lie elected to follow the teaching profession.
