SECONDARY SCHOOLS. ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. The secondary schools of Auckland liave deckled upon the following dates for their annual swimming sports :— Seddon Memorial Technical College (Girls). —March 1, all day, Shelly Beach. Auckland Grammar School.—March 1, Mount Eden, 1 p.m. Sacred Heart College.—March 5, Tepid Baths, night. Seddon Memorial Technical College.— March 5 (tentative), probably Shelly Beach. Mount Albert Grammar School.—March 8, Mount Eden. King's College.—March 14, Tepid Baths, in conjunction with King's School. Takapuna Grammar School.—March 18, Tepid Baths Girls 1 p.m., boys to follow.
CARNIVAL AT PAEEOA.
TWO REGIMENTAL RACES. The Paeroa Swimming Club held its second carnival in line weather last evening. There was a large crowd present, including the officers and men of the Hauraki Regiment (encamped at Paeroa) as guests of the club. A number of competitors from the camp took part in the events, while there was in the programme two championship races, for which the regiment had provided engraved cups. The Mayor, Mr. W. Marshall, presented these cups to the winners, Sergeant B. Miller and Private Waters. Results :— Tiny Tots, Girls. —Moira Jaspers 1, Sheila Sileock 2. Junior Boys' 33 1-3 Yards. —E. Short 1, J.
