SIR LINDO FERGUSON.
HONOURED BY DOCTORS. LONG SERVICE AT DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Asse-Matlon.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. A presentation to Sir Lindo Ferguson, who has been associated with the Otago Medical School for 50 years, was made at the official opening of the conference of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association to-night. The presentation, which was made by Dr. T. J. Johnson, consisted of an illuminated address, containing the signatures of about 301) medical practitioners in all parts of the Dominion and from further afield. In addition, Dr. Hardie Neil, of Auckland, on behalf of the signatories, made a substantial donation to augment the Dean's Fund for medical research. He suggested the fund should in future be known as the Sir Lindo Ferguson Fund.
