DAMAGES CLAIM.
COLLISION AT NIGHT.
LORRY AND MOTOR CYCLE.
Evidence for the defence, was eallrd before. Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court to-day in the action in which Louis Carl Augustin and his wife, Elizabeth Augustin, claimed from Hughes and Cossar, Ltd., damages totalling nearly £2000. The action arose as the result of a collision between a motor lorry and a motor cycle and sidecar on the Great North Road about 9 o'clock on the night of April 4, \ 934. • : Mr. I. J. Coldstine appeared for the plaintiff, and defendants were represented by Mr. V. R. Meredith and Mr. G Wallace. It is expected that the hearing will be concluded to-day. Addresses to the jury were to be heard this afternoon. Witnesses for the defence this morning asserted that the lorry was on its correct side and that the motor cycle had taken an erratic course.
