TO-DAY'S FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the' Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton :— Moderate, to fresh southerly winds. The weather will bo cold and changeable, with 'a few passing showers at times. Seas will be rough on the west coast, and moderate on. the east. A rather deep secondary depression crossed the Dominion last night, while an intense anti-cyclone is still centred near Tasmania, and extends over the Tasman Sea.
HAUKAKI GUU CONDITIONS
The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-west, moderate; sea, mod-, crate; weather, cloudy to overcast; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
