WELLINGTON PRICES FIRM. At' the sale of sheepskins and hides held ;by • the Wellington brokers, competition -was keen and animated. Sheepskins, were very firm and in some cases advanced V*d to %d a lb. Hides,- with the exception of lightweights, although keenly sought after, were a shade easier than last sale. Calfskins and kip sold well and prices for these were Vsd dearer. Tallow also was in keen demand, prices being in sellers' favour to the extent of 1/ a cwt. LONDON QUOTATIONS.
