SOVIET AGITATORS.
CANADA'S LUMBER STRIKE. (Received 1.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, February 19. A charge that Soviet agitators were behind the recent strike in British Columbia logging camps with a view to killing Canada's chances in the United Kingdom market in favour of Russian timber, was made in the House of Commons by Mr. Wilfrid Hanbury' (Vancouver). Mr. R. B. Bennett, Prime Minister, stated that the information secured showed that Mr. Hanbury's charge was "fully warranted."
