ALSATIAN DESTROYED.
CAUGHT KILLING LAMBS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PEILDING, Tuesday. After killing or maiming 19 lambs and grown sheep an Alsatian dog was destroyed by the police to-day. Mr. D. Burke, a farmer near Feilding, found the dog this morning killing his lambs. He gave chase and shot the dog, which, though wounded, escaped, but was eventually traced to its home. The police were called and Sergeant Angland destroyed the dog.
