OFFENCES BY MAORIS.
, (By Telegraph.—Press. Association.) GISBORNE, this day. At the Supreme Court this morning before Mr. Justice Smith, a Maori, Tana on two charges of forgery and one of uttering arising out of the purchase of a motor ear by accused in the Bay of Plenty, was admitted to two years' probation. A Maori youth, Jim Rangi, received two years' probation ou a charge of carnal knowledge. •
