For the final day of the CVntenayy Games yesterday there was a wet track. A feature wan a new record for the 120 yds hurdles, in which McLardy. improved on big own Australian figure by one-fifth of a second. The New Zealand competitors again were successful in several events. Results 120 Yards Hurdles.— McLardy (Victoria) 1 Wateon (Victoria) 2, Cooper (New South Wales) 3. Won by four yards. Time, 14 4-ss. Mile.—Backhouse (Victoria) 1, Colman (Victoria) 2, Izzard (Victoria) 3. Won by IVz yards. Time, 4.27%. 100 Yards.—Macfarlane (Xew Zealand) ] Scott (Victoria) 2, Dethridge (Victoria) 3 Won by a yard. Time, 10 1-10*. '880 Yards.—Broadway (Xew Zealand) 1, Best (Victoria) 2, McLachlan (Xew Zealand) 3. Won by two yards, one yard between second and third.
