MELBOURNE, February 3. The result of the first croquet Test match between England and New Zealand depends upon the outcome of the last doubles match, which was not finished owing to rain. The singles match was completed yesterday, Poulter defeating Mrs. Caldow. Progress totals :— Singles : England, three rubbers, seven games, 28S points; New Zealand, two rubbers, seven games, 240 points.
